26.04.06, Deradun The Honourable Chief Minister of Uttaranchal, Dr.Narayan Dutt Tewari, a veteran Indian leader who is spearheading development of this Himalayan state, jointly with S.Chand's C.E.O Amit Gupta welcome INGENATIC's M.D.s Dr. Ilario Astinov, Phd and Mr.Ulrich Scholten, MBA to Dehradun, capital of Uttaranchal.
The Chief Minister expressed his strong desire and plans to Uttaranchal Television regarding the introduction and implementation of INGENATIC's Blended and Simulation-based learning solutions in this north Indian state to enhance its quality of academic and vocational education.
The Minister of Urban Development, Mr Nav Prabhat added that Uttaranchal wants to strongly build on the regional resources to develop a considerable pool of human capital in the fields Hardware and Software Technology.
India's leading academic publishing house S.Chand & Co. Ltd. will take the role of integrating INGENATIC's simulation based products into the national curricula, together with the company's books. Mr Gupta, CEO of S.Chand - sees "a broad potential in India for Blended Learning with INGENATIC software and hardware, which will take long until it sees the limits of its accessible market."

| S.Chand & Co Ltd. organizes Symposium on ‘Blended Learning in Higher Technical Education’ in the JNTU University, Hyderabad. |
27.04.06, Hyderabad. S.Chand & Co. Ltd. organized a symposium on ‘Blended Learning in Higher Technical Education’ at the JNTU University, Hyderabad the largest technical University in world having 273 colleges. A number of participants from several reputed universities attended this symposium. The Vice Chancellor of this university Dr.Rajgopal, Dr. Reddy, Dr. Shastri and other decision makers from academia and faculties talked about the right teaching methodologies in response to expected skill requirements by industry during the next 10 years. In an appreciated discourse, Professor Astinov describes the strength of applying didactic-oriented simulations in the frame of a blended learning solution has been described with regards to teaching efficiency and ROI.
Later INGENATIC’s M.D Mr. Scholten said in an interview with the national television, "Germany and India have much scope for intensifying their relationships. The current level of trade exchange between the two countries is even inferior to India's exchange with Belgium.”
"A more industry-oriented approach to university education could motivate more German investment in India" concluded Mr. Gupta from S.Chand. "Blended learning shall help to complement India's renowned academic teaching with hands-on aspects". Mr. Hahn from the German office of technical cooperation GTZ sees INGENATIC coming with the right products at the right time.

In an IT fair, Uttaranchal.IT@Dehradun 2006 organized by ITDA, SCTL was among the major IT and ITES companies that had made its presence felt there. As one of the key participants, SCTL was represented by our Director, Mr. Himanshu Gupta who shared his vision of uplifting the existing educational scenario of the state through various e-Learning initiatives of the organization. In our stall we displayed our CDs for Mathematics, Science and Social Studies in the K-12 segment that attracted too many parents and students alike.
