S. Chand and Company Limited together with its sister concern S. Chand Technologies Private Limited has bagged the prestigious 'e-class' project for 1100 Govt. Schools of Uttaranchal Statefunded by WORLD BANK. In the e-class project the company has developed Multimedia Based Educational software programmes for mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology.
The content covered 'end-to-end' coverage for CBSE, CICSE, and Uttaranchal boards. For this project the company created around 3000 SCORM certified learning objects on 492 topics.

HMH(Houghton Mifflin Harcourt): S. Chand and Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt have launched a joint venture company – S. Chand Harcourt (India) Pvt. Ltd.
HMH is the 2nd largest education publisher in the world and #1 in the US. K-12 education content Market, with approximately $2.5 billion in combined revenue. We are closely working with them to produce international quality multimedia content. SCTPL has already supplied interactive multimedia content to them and is in the process of developing more advanced interactive educational content.
Taleem Project

In the Taleem project the company developed Multimedia Based Educational software programmes for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology for Classes IX to XII in Urdu language. The content provided 'end-to-end' coverage for CBSE, CICSE, and Uttaranchal boards. For this project, the company is developing around 1000 learning objects which are SCORM compliant.
The aim and objective of the project "Taleem" was to modernize the education facility of the Madrasas and to generate interest among students that would also help them to get quality education. Each initiative in educational technology must be driven by a thorough understanding of the aims and objectives that each stakeholder wishes to achieve. In regards to the project, the major stakeholder was Uttaranchal Muslim Education Mission. As a vendor for project "Taleem", S. Chand has shown obligations to each stakeholder and these obligations must be fulfilled at each stage during the course of development and implementation of the project.
Orissa Project
S. Chand Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (SCTPL) has successfully implemented DIGILAB concept in 100 Pilot Government Schools of Orissa.
Chhattisgarh Project
Recently SCTPL has been awarded a contract from Chhattisgarh Govt. for development & supply of Multimedia Based Courseware in 250 schools from class 9th – 12th in subjects Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The content shall cover 'end-to-end' coverage for NCERT and Education Board of Chhattisgarh. For this project the company has developed around 200 learning objects for 250 Schools. This project has been successfully implemented and over 500 principals, teachers and MIS staff was imparted training.

SCTPL is developing Multimedia Based Courseware for Madrasas of the State in Urdu language.
