SCTL has a diversified pool of skilled professionals that comprises of project managers, trainers, instructional designers, subject matter experts and a huge multimedia team.

The project managers oversee development activities, collaborate with team members, and manage client relationship.
Project schedule, tracking profitability, monitoring project issues and contributing to improved procedures are some of the important responsibilities of the project management team.
The Instructional Designers liaise with Subject Matter Experts to facilitate knowledge transfer and quality assurance of content based on learning needs of courseware. The QA team ensures adherence to principles of international standards in content development.

SCTL’s Multimedia development team is a group of accomplished and experienced professionals headed by an Assistant Project Manager. The concerted efforts of illustrators, graphic designers, visualisers, scripters and narrators help us to create various compelling concept-driven images that lend a unique audio-visual effect to each project.

The bottom line is that despite belonging to different domains, SCTL team is one big group and all of us work to reach a common goal – Client Satisfaction.

Mr. Himanshu Gupta, the third generation powerhouse of the group led the company into digital publishing and e-learning to cater to the anytime-anywhere educational needs. A natural marketing personality, he opens and closes sales and strategies on new campaigns and avenues. He understands the changing and evolving dynamics of the industry and has been spearheading the group's foray to a ‘Total Education Corporation'. To meet this objective, he launched S.Chand Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.

Under his leadership, the company bagged a prestigious World Bank funded Uttaranchal government's ‘e-class' project for developing Mathematics and Science multimedia courseware for classes 9 th to 12 th based on the curricula of CBSE, ICSE and State Boards . Mr. Himanshu Gupta's persuasive and negotiations skills led him to receive repeat order, ‘Project Taleem' from Uttaranchal Government. This project is an initiative to modernize Madarasa education system by providing them with Mathematics and Science multimedia courseware for classes 9 th to12 th in Urdu.

At international level, the group has forged alliance with an international e-learning solution provider to market their products in Asia and Europe .

Mr. Himanshu Gupta did his schooling from Modern School , Barakhamba Road , Delhi and graduated from Delhi University . At a very young age, Himanshu took over the responsibility to refurbish the brand image of the group and since then he has been implementing his innovative ideas to take the group to new heights.

Amit Gupta

Amit Gupta is the CEO of largest Indian academic publishing house S Chand & Company and prior to this the Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of VirgiTech Corporation, an IT Solutions company in Egypt. A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Amit has attended several international training programs in Operation Management, Total Quality Control, Project & process management, Organizational Strategy and Management Excellence etc. in some of the top international organizations and management institutions.

A top management team member with 24 years of experience in top Indian & International companies in roles of Business Head, Business development Head, Profit center and Operations head.
He has deep understanding and international experience of working with diverse teams and nationalities across the world both at field and corporate levels.

Amit moved to Cairo in Year 2000 to set up the joint venture IT Company in Egypt with world leaders in IT Training, NIIT Ltd.While in Egypt he had accomplished the Best Training Company award from Microsoft for his training solutions for Egypt and also in Middle East, Africa & Eastern Europe in the world event in 2003.

Dr. Ram Pratap

Dr. Ram Pratap oversees the project execution and work flow and ensures to maintain the quality standard. His past experiences with educational institutions of international standard are a great value addition to SCTL. Dr. Ram Pratap’s eye for finer details and his academic bent of mind are a great source of inspiration for content development team.

Dr Ram Pratap Ph.D(Physics);Ph.D(Management) had served as Professor and Chairman of the PG Department of Physics at the University of Bombay, . In the International Conferences held in 1986 and 1989 at the University of California, Berkeley, USA, he presented his research work before the world community of scientists. Dr Pratap in 1998 moved from conventional university education system to open and distance education system and took charge of the post of Director (Planning) of Indira Gandhi National Open University), New Delhi; while performing several other tasks and fulfilling many responsibilities there, he led his team to prepare IX and X Five Year Plans of the university for securing funds from the Govt. of India. (GoI). During his tenure as Director (Planning), he submitted a project ’Educational development of N-E States’ to MHRD that was approved with a grant of Rs. 15 crores, the fund that university never got before.
